6 approach roads into Clondalkin

QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

“To ask the Chief Executive to issue a report on the condition and plans for all 6 approach roads into Clondalkin as a number of potholes are appearing in and around the village. (The roads are : Watery Lane; Ninth Lock Road; Old Nangor Road; Boot Road; Newlands Cross & Monastery Road).”

REPLY:

Recent works has been carried out to the Clondalkin approach roads as follows:

Ninth Lock Road: Resurfaced in late 2013

Old Nangor Road: Footpaths upgrade in 2012. Repairs to surfacing to be carried out in 2015.

Boot Road: Repairs to be carried out in 2015 at the junction with Fonthill Road

Newlands Cross: Recent upgrade scheme completed.

Monastery Road: Footpath upgrade ongoing also Repairs to surfacing to be carried out in 2015.

New Road: Resurfacing carried out in 2014 also further repairs to be carried out in 2015.

Fonthill Road: Resurfacing carried out in 2013 and 2014.

Watery Lane: Road surface is in good condition and no works are scheduled for 2015
