1) Yellow markings at old school in Newcastle will be removed next few weeks
2) Lights at Newcastle Lyons will go on early October
3) They will look at Lollipop issue and come back to me asap (SEO to write to An Taisce regarding a Walkability Audit for this location to access Health and safety.)…
4) Issues at Peamount Hospital – Meeting with hospital staff to be arranged (A/Snr./Eng). – Report back to next traffic meeting.
5) St. Patrick’s Estate and St. Patricks Park are on the agreed list for the provision of Children at Play signage for 2015.
6) Palmerstown woods – Referred to Public Realm to cut back vegetation to improve sight lines.
7) Fitzmaurice Road – Rathcoole – Parks Department agreed to initiate a Part 8 procedure regarding the provision of parking facilities. Access from Fitzmaurice Road has been agreed by Roads Department. This proposal is subject to funding by Parks.
8) JUN/55144] – Enq: 1108471 – Old Naas Road – The name of the road is the Old Naas Road. This road needs to be signposted, also a sign for Corkagh Park. – signs to go up ASAP
9) [NOV/52301] – CC Enq. No. 1061001 – Newcastle Village – Proposed Villages Initiative for Newcastle to include measures to address this issue.
10) Enq 1119063-Cherrywood Avenue- Cherrywood Villas – New road markings and upgrade.
