MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons
Given the huge lack of turn over in Social Housing, this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to urgently provide us with a list of Lands that could be used for housing and ask that the Part 8 Planning needed, be put before the Council urgently. This must include a large scale Council Housing build.
REPORT:
A process of a detailed examination of Housing lands of the Council in terms of suitability is almost complete. It is intended to present proposals to the Members at Area Committee level during January 2015. Proposed dates will be provided to the Members within the next two weeks.
