“Given the ongoing issue of flooding at the 9th Lough Road (Outside Waterside Public House) and despite several efforts to fix this issue, this committee asks that a report be issued on the problem and that work be carried out in a timely manner to resolve this local issue.”
REPORT:
The area has been inspected as previously requested. There was no evidence of flooding observed in the area. However, Road Maintenance staff will monitor the location, particularly during the next period of rainfall. Any necessary works will then be included in the works programme.
