If re-elected as a Councillor to South Dublin County Council, among other things I commit to the following!
Housing – I will continue to campaign for housing in SDCC and actively campaign for affordable housing in the area!
Anti-Social Behaviour – I will continue to work with the Garda and SDCC in an effort to combat anti-social behaviour. I will also continue my campaign for additional Garda resources for our area especially investment in Community Guards!
Mental Health – I will continue to campaign for and promote positive mental health and support increases to funding for Mental Health services!
Disability – I will continue to be a voice for people with a disability and will focus in particular on wheelchair accessibility in our community. I will also work on Autism friendly villages!
Community – I will continue to be involved in many local and national groups and promote and encourage an inclusive and vibrant community!
Climate Change – I will continue to work on local and national environmental issues!
SDCC Survivor Garden – I will continue to lobby for a Survivors of Institutional Abuse Garden in SDCC area!
Infrastructure – I will continue to campaign and fight for better and adequate infrastructure and amenities in all areas, especially for new developments such as the Clonburris SDZ. I will continue to campaign for much needed schools on our communities and a secondary school in Newcastle!
Plans – I will continue to work hard on the Clondalkin Local Area Plan, the delivery of the County Development Plan 2022-2028 and the Traffic Plan for Newcastle, Rathcoole and Saggart!
Equality , Social Justice and Human Rights – I will continue working to promote and encourage Equality, Social Justice and Human Rights issues that make our community and country a better, more inclusive place to live, work and visit!
