“That this committee asks the Chief Executive for a report into what is the planned work for the Mill and Stables in Corkagh park and what timescale is envisaged.”
REPORT:
The Council has recently initiated the process of commissioning an options and feasibility Study Report which will examine and identify practical options for the further development of the tourism and visitor potential of Camac Valley Caravan Park, an examination of the outbuildings at Corkagh Demense with a view to exploiting the potential of their rich heritage and the potential “Cluster” value of the three focal points, including the developed Round Tower Visitor Centre as a combined tourism offer. A report on the outcome of this study will be presented to the Elected Members.
