QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons
“To ask the Chief Executive for a report of when will the road between Maldrons & Topaz be taken in charge by SDCC as the lights are still not working (approx 4-5) It is on the road between Maldrons & Topaz and this is a safety issue?”
REPLY:
The access road from Topaz to the Maldron Hotel in Clondalkin is a private road servicing local businesses only. There has been no formal request from the owners to take this road in charge and the Council has no plans to do so. It is a matter for the owners of the road to repair inter alia the public lights.
