MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons
“That this committee agrees in the interest of health and safety that lights be looked at at the roads surrounding and leading to the former Polly Hops public house as the roads are in places extremely dark and dangerous.”
REPORT:
The junction at Polly Hops will be closed as part of the R120 Adamstown Road Improvement Scheme, which is proposed to go to tender in 2016.
There will be a new public lighting scheme installed as part of these works and we will reassess the lighting at this location when the detailed design is under way.
