MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons
“That this committee calls for an immediate safety review at Monastery Road regarding the
1) Concrete Structure at the junction of Monastery Road and Castle Park and 2) Removal of Traffic Light Controlled Crossing at the Library.”
REPORT:
1. As part of the Monastery Road works an independent safety audit will be undertaken on completion of the works.
2. Arrangements have been made to re-instate the signalised pedestrian crossing at the library.
